About Allison Lee
Dr. Lee has nearly 20 years of experience treating a variety of mental health issues. She graduated Albert Einstein College of Medicine with distinction in Psychiatry Research and completed Psychiatry Residency at Mount Sinai Beth Israel in New York City. She earned a certificate in Psychoanalysis at the William Alanson White Institute. She also practices Psychodynamic, Cognitive-Behavioral and Supportive styles of psychotherapy.
In addition to private practice, she worked as a clinician-researcher at the Family Center for Bipolar at Beth Israel for 5 years. This work gives her unique experience in treating bipolar disorder and working with families.
Dr. Lee attended Vassar College where she studied Cognitive Science and Music. She is passionate about helping people overcome barriers to achieving health-related goals while adhering to the Health At Every Size philosophy. She is knowledgeable about ancestral health approaches to diet and lifestyle. She also has an interest in the relationship between mental health, technology, video gaming, and "geek" culture.
